The raw timber is graded, straightened and then machined. The moulding machine planes the boards, tongue and grooves the back of the boards. The ends are squared resulting in random lengths. Skirting boards, architraves and doors can also be manufactured to match and complement the flooring. Individual boards are selected for length, width and trueness.

These boards are then planed into square edge timber of the correct dimension and then moulded by hand to the customer's specific specification. Original mouldings from existing houses can be matched exactly to create a uniform look.
