Michael and Cheryll Stevenson's inspiration to set up Oakra Hardwood Flooring was borne out of frustration when trying to find quality wooden flooring for their own home. Michael comes from a joinery background and Cheryll is from sales so together they set about sourcing selected oak to hand craft into beautiful bespoke wooden floors, doors, stairs, architraves, skirting boards and ceiling beams.

What makes the Oakra experience special is the attention to detail from start to finish. As well as the aesthetics involved in achieving a masterpiece floor, Michael understands fully the technical complexities of final perfection, especially when it comes to working with under floor heating which requires experience and skill.

Their workshop is situated in Richhill, Armagh and they also now have a showroom at Lomac Tiles on the Boucher Road in Belfast. Orders for floors can be taken anywhere in Ireland, Great Britain or the Channel Islands.
